NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The final match of the season at the Brady Squash Center provided a Yale victory as the Bulldogs cruised to a 9-0 defeat of No. 9 Dartmouth on Sunday.
The win gave Yale (10-4, 4-3) a winning record in Ivy League play this season. The Bulldogs' 4-3 mark was good for fourth in the conference, behind the three teams that bested Yale — No. 2 Penn, No. 3 Harvard and No. 4 Princeton.
Yale looked strong after Friday's night defeat against Harvard. Six of the nine matches required only three games for the Bulldogs to dispatch their opponents, and none went a full five.
The Bulldogs return next weekend for Howe Cup national championships, hosted by Harvard and MIT. The tournament will be Yale's final team event of the 2014-2015 season.
