NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Yale men's squash won the first of its two Ivy League matches this weekend as the Bulldogs defeated the No. 10 Penn Quakers 7-2 at the Brady Squash Center on Saturday.
Yale (7-3, 2-1 Ivy) took care of business to secure its second Ivy League win of the season. The Bulldogs received strong contributions from their young talent, as four of the five freshmen playing in the match earned wins for Yale. Victories from captain Joseph Roberts, as well as from sophomore Thomas Dembinski and junior Sam Fenwick in the top two spots, added to the effort for a decisive 7-2 margin.
The Bulldogs return to action against No. 8 Princeton on Sunday at noon as they look to pick up their second win of the weekend.
