HANOVER, N.H. – Despite playing without two key members of the lineup and suffering a rare pair of losses at the top two spots, the Yale women's squash team still came away with a 6-3 win at Dartmouth Saturday.
The Bulldogs were without Camilla Tomlinson, who was competing in the British Junior Open, and Kimberley Hay, who is just rejoining the team after returning to school from the UK for second semester. Losses at the top two spots by seniors Logan Greer and Sarah Toomey added to the challenge, but the Bulldogs' depth prevailed. Wins at the bottom six positions, including 3-0 wins by freshman Lily Fast (No. 5), senior Caroline Reigeluth (No. 6), junior Alexandra Kerr (No. 8) and freshman Gwendoline Tilghman (No. 9), made the difference.
Yale (5-0, 2-0 Ivy League) returns to action Jan. 1, playing at No. 7 Cornell.
